We have a new web site

We are trying to develop open solutions for 3D printers. If you are looking for a better software solution for your DLP printer I hope this page will help you. If you are trying to build your own 3D DLP printer you can easily adopt this software to your own design or we will be more than happy to add support for your 3d printer into our software.

We are sure we will together develop higher resolution capability 3D printers for the DIY Community.

I downloaded the program and started to use it. I downloaded some STL files from the web, loaded to the program and start playing with it. I found a problem when I try to slice the object. A warning shows “************* Exception Text **************
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Gnexlab3DLP\Temp.svg’ is denied.” Please advice. Thanks.

Please try to run the software with admin privileges

I did. I am using Win7 so I change pc and try to installed it on a machine with Win XP. Now when I try to slice again I got a different warning.”can’t open Nul:No such file or directory” Slice operation failed” I don’t know what do next. I want to having it working and I can’t. Thanks.

OK, now I got it working fine on Win7. I was doing something wrong! The slicing is working fine but sometime when I request the layer thickness to small I got a warning of out of memory. What memory it is referring to? I have 4 gig of ram. Thanks

I am building my first 3d printer which is a dlp projector type. I am glad you are almost ready to release the software. I am working programming the PIC which will control the actions of the printer. As soon I have the it checked I’ll uploaded so every body benefits out of it.The software that creates the slide shots of the slices you are working on is the must important part of this project. Thanks.

New to all this, but i to am building a DLP printer! My background is more mechanical engineering, so building the acutal printer comes alot easier than the software side of things, but was very happy to stumble across this site. Excellent work from all involved with this. Will the software that creates an album of slides for the projector have features such as colour changes, the resin i will be using cures at 420nm which is a violet-blue. Could the album of slides be imported to a program such as Powerpoint or similar?? Even though i havnt a clue about writing the software, hopefully i will be able to contribute in other ways with the whole process of this type of printing, Great work once again.

Hello, my name is Peter R and I am looking to build a fairly cheap dlp 3d printer but I am having some major issues. Mainly I cannot find suitable software, nor a standard hardware setup. I am curious as to how your software works? Would it be an arduino sketch that runs independently, or will it need an actual computer to run as well?
    Thank You.
